What is the Cancer Research Foundation?
The Cancer Research Foundation is a United States, a tax-exempt, 501(c)3, public charity that was created to raise awareness about the importance of cancer research and the ongoing need for cancer research funding. The Cancer Research Foundation is designed to minimize operating expenses and to donate 100% of all net proceeds to cancer research.
Who does the Cancer Research Foundation support?
This year, donations received by the Cancer Research Foundation will benefit the innovative research programs at Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation, and UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Each of our chosen recipients is a renowned research institute on the cutting edge of cancer research; each ranked within the top ten cancer hospitals by US News and World Report. The Cancer Research Foundation consciously supports diverse and innovative centers in the expectation that each institute will find a different piece to the puzzle and that, together, will find a cure or cures to the over 200 types of cancer.
